All entries must be completed and submitted by the closing date to be considered.
You may enter multiple categories.
The length of the submission is limited by the entry form.
Entries must be written in English.
Where project entries are collaborative, all major contributors should be specified within the entry.
For project entries, consent must be sought from the project owner.
For organisational entries, consent should be sought from the nominated organisation.
Translations should be provided for any supporting material not in English.
Evidence provided to support results should be referenced and entries can be disqualified if the data source is not cited.
Supporting material, such as independently produced data, industry surveys, extracts from analysts’ reports, testimonials, press articles, etc. will only be accepted if provided as part of the written submission online. No further hard copy information is required.
For organisation awards: Entries will be accepted from organisations with a regional office in the Middle East or North Africa (except for entries relating to Startup of the Year where organisations with active business in the region will be accepted).
For project awards: Entries will be accepted for projects based in the Middle East or North Africa.
For individual awards: Entries will be accepted for employees based in the Middle East or North Africa.
Entries will be accepted from project owners, developers, construction consultants, contractors, architecture, engineering firms and relevant startups.
Any authorised person from within an organisation can nominate the company, a project, or an individual or themselves.
The awards ceremony takes place during the 3rd Construction Technology Forum 23-24 February 2021 at the Address Hotel Dubai Marina.
Attendance to the award ceremony is payable and included in the cost of the conference pass. Shortlisted organisations are not permitted to attend the award ceremony without a paid-for ticket.
We may for any reason, at any time withdraw an Entry, including (without limitation) where it:
offends national sentiments, religious or cultural sentiments or public taste;
does not meet the entry criteria, as published on the relevant website;
includes work that was banned or withdrawn from airing or publication;
is missing required elements, results, or information.
To withdraw an Entry, you must notify us via the email address on the website.
We own all intellectual property rights, including copyright, design rights and trademark rights, in and to all Trophies, decorative objects and other souvenirs of achievement in relation to an Award (a ‘Trophy’).
If you win an Award, any duties, fees and charges accrued from the transporting of the relevant Trophy will be your responsibility.
Our decisions in all matters relating to the Awards will be final and binding.
The content of all submissions remains, at all times, the copyright of the entrant, but Construction Technology Awards may wish to reproduce some relevant content for the purpose of promotional materials such as: Award winners’ case-studies, PR or other. If an entrant does not wish to give automatic permission for material to be reproduced, without prior discussion, this must be noted when the submission is made. Financial information will not be published.
The judging panel is independent to the organiser and their decision is final.
The judging panel reserves the right to re-categorise or reject any entry that does not comply with the requirements of the competition and entry criteria.
Entries will only be judged on the basis of the information provided in the entry form and additional supporting material where submitted.
Details of the judging conversations will not be disclosed.
No correspondence will be entered into by the Awards Team or the judges regarding feedback on entries.
Judges are requested to declare any conflict of interests and remove themselves from the process if they are asked to judge an entry that poses one.
We will respect as confidential any financial data submitted unless given express permission to use it.
If there is a particular part of an entry that you would prefer to be kept confidential then please clarify this on the entry.
All entries will be stored securely on our website and accessible only by the judges.
By entering the Construction Technology Awards, companies are authorising the organisers to use the ‘entry description’, ‘marketing photo’ and ‘company logo’, for the purpose of the awards presentation and external marketing.
