Dia Alshamsi is a Senior Energy Engineer at the Energy Efficiency and Renewables Office (Reem) in Ras Al Khaimah Municipality, UAE, where she is responsible to develop and manage energy management program focusing on residential and industrial sector.

Prior to joining Reem, Dia worked as a Manager for Qualification Section at Ras Al Khaimah Municipality, where she oversaw the planning, reporting and execution of the sections’ activities and contributed in drafting the mandates and regulations for engineering consultancies and contracting firms in the emirate. Previously, she worked as a Civil Engineer for the Inspection Section.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the American University of Sharjah, UAE.
