Ahmed T. Hegazy, Canadian entrepreneur and Cofounder of Opteam, works at the intersection of AI and construction. Before founding Opteam, he managed strategic accounts at SAP across Energy, Oil and Gas, where he closed one of the largest contracts worldwide. He then partnered with his friend and his father, Dr. Tarek Hegazy, a leading academic in construction project controls, to build Opteam, an AI-powered project controls and claims platform. Today Opteam works with some of the largest contractors and consultants in the region to track projects and recover time lost to delays.
