Qualified as an Architect MBA, Amit has been working to contribute to the global real estate sector for over 2 decades. He has spent over 8 years in the region curating stories for mixed-use assets. Amit has rich experience working in the real estate field with brands such as Ivanhoe Cambridge, McArthur, RMZ, Colliers, Cushman & Wakefield, and DLF in leadership positions. All along his passionate journey in real estate, he has been instrumental in formulating innovative strategies and opening up new revenue streams for his stakeholders, working for private family offices.

In his current capacity as Vice President of Leasing with DAMAC Properties, the largest private developer in UAE. Amit handles the entire P&L of the firm’s Retail and Residential leased assets. Amit’s prime focus is to establish DAMAC as a mixed-use and community retail player in the Region which includes developing new territories for DAMAC in London, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon.

In parallel, he strives to ensure the enhancement of productivity and overall valuation of the operational assets of DAMAC through the management of DAMAC Owned malls in the United Arab Emirates. Amit has been invited to speak at esteemed retail events such as Future Retail Destinations Qatar, the 11th Annual Shopping Mall Summit Malaysia, 12th Annual Shopping Mall Summit Thailand, 9th Annual CEM and Customer Loyalty MENA Summit to name a few. He is a progressive believer in the powerful adage ‘Teamwork makes the dream work’.
