Dr. Ozan Koseoglu

I have been working at Siemens Energy since 2022 as the Global Head of BIM responsible for digital projects execution across projects spanning various locations with global setting out in US, EMEA and Asia-Pacific. Prior to this, I have worked as the CTO (Chief Technical Officer) of Istanbul New Airport; where managed and delivered one of World’s largest airport scope & project from design to operations in Digital Environment managing the design & engineering; fabrication &installation, commissioning and handover to operations.

Prior to this, I worked for the largest private contractor in the UK for major projects in diverse sectors and UAE for large capital projects in public & private sector consortiums.

I received my BSc & MSc in Civil Engineering & Construction Management from METU, Turkey and PhD in Construction Innovation and Technology Management from Loughborough University, in the UK. I am an Adjunct Professor in UAE and published many journal articles; supervised 30+ MSc & PhD students and published the book called`Airport BIM` by 2019.

I live in Dubai, UAE. In my free time, I go cycling near the seaside, sailing, fishing and enjoy having BBQ evenings with my family& friends.
