Kaarin Kalavus-Collins

Kaarin is a specialist in digital construction and asset data with diverse experience in design, construction and consultancy in the UK and Middle East. She has a degree in Architectural Technology, is Chartered Construction Manager (MCIOB) and holds IFMA’s Facilities Management Professional (FMP) certification. In her current role, Kaarin is leading Turner & Townsend’s BIM delivery service in the region and she is also a sitting member of Chartered Institute of Building Dubai Hub committee.

Throughout her career, Kaarin has had an opportunity to contribute to various digital initiatives, including: undertake research into open data exchange using the Industry Foundation Classes, develop standardised BIM object library for pre-cast concrete products to enable efficient and streamlined data flow from design into manufacturing and improve estimation processes, and leading a digital transformation programme to transform the way cost management service is delivered.
