Mark Sweeney

Mark Sweeney is Senior Vice President of Project Controls at Sports Boulevard Foundation in Riyadh, with extensive experience in the delivery and governance of major infrastructure and complex programmes across the Middle East, the UK and Europe. His career has included senior roles on Expo 2020 Dubai, Crossrail, Network Rail’s FTN/GSM-R programme, and large-scale telecommunications rollouts across the UK and Europe, with a focus on project controls, commercial management, integrated cost and schedule management, governance and organisational change.

Mark is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), holds a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and an MBA from Henley Business School, and is a Chartered Manager and Member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM).
