Theofanis Fanourakis

Theofanis Fanourakis is the Digital Services Associate Director for Diriyah Gate Company, which is under Public Investment Fund (PIF), Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund. He oversees the development and implementation of innovative digital delivery processes for the exciting new development of Diriyah, which will be transformed into one of the world’s foremost lifestyle destinations for culture and heritage, hospitality, retail, and education, and will become one of the world’s great gathering places.

Theofanis holds an integrated Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from NTUA Greece, and has more than 20 years of experience ranging from design consulting, contracting, project management and owner-operator public organizations. He has led successfully the implementation of innovative BIM & Digital Delivery in iconic mega construction projects & programmes, such as airports, stadiums, infrastructure, and large-scale mixed use developments. He is passionate about using technology and lean processes to improve the efficiency, quality and sustainability of AECO sector.
